Catering & Retail Services aim to provide a broad range of high quality, value for money food services and is provided by QMU's catering services partner BaxterStorey.
As well as staff and students, the local community are welcome to take advantage of our catering and retail outlets.
The 1875 Restaurant offers a full breakfast and lunch service Monday to Friday providing a range of traditional dishes including, soups, plant based options and a deli bar selection.

From coffee to confectionary, a range of basic household commodities as well as stationary and branded clothing.
Retail Shop Opening Hours

The shop provides retail products, hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, cakes & fruit 08.30 – 16.30 hours
We have an excellent Starbucks Coffee Pod service located in the atrium of the university serving a variety of Starbucks drinks and snacks.

We have a number of vending machines that are available on campus. These are located on level 1 (cold drinks, hot drinks & confectionery) in the library (LRC) and next to the lifts closest to the university entrance. Levels 2 (hot beverages & confectionery) and 3 (cold drinks & confectionery) of the building outside the Halle lecture Theatre and lecture room 2156.
