Public Sociology encourages, facilitates and advances sociological knowledge which is generated through engagement between academic researchers and key publics involved in social justice issues. This includes communities, employer organisations, trade unions, NGOs and policy makers at local, national and international level.  Public Sociology addresses, accesses and engages with broader publics beyond academia.
